Comment: John is the only Alberta producer of fly tying hackles. John will give us some insight into what goes into raising the birds that provide the type of hackle fly tyers demand. He’ll discuss what makes a good fly tying hackle, how to grade it and the range of quality that can be produced. He will also bring some of his product for sale at the meeting.
