Comment: Traditional quill wings have fallen out of favor in recent years and been replaced by hair, Antron, turkey flats and other materials. One of the reasons is the lack of exposure to the skills needed to tie them in properly. Another is the possible lack of good quality quills. Gary will try to rectify that for attendees by demonstrating selection and preparation of material and the proper tying technique.
