Michael Dell Posted October 21, 2020 Author Share Posted October 21, 2020 Here is the fly pattern supplied by Florin: The Hatchmaster, parachute version Hook Daiichi 1640 short shank dry fly or similar #12-18 Thread Danville 70 denier Flymaster 6/0 or Uni 8/0 olive Tail/body/wing Mallard (or other waterfowl) flank small size natural/olive/ginger Thorax BWO or PMD dubbing Hackle Blue dun or Ginger saddle tied parachute A fine bodkin and an extra bobbin with a fine tube help manage the duck feather.
