pacosnow Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Just wanted to say hi, I joined the forums to try and gain some more knowledge and get to know some of you guys. I spent last Saturday at the fly fishing course that was provided and just wanted to say thank you to everyone there for helping me out and getting me started with fly fishing. I tested my newly found knowledge today at the Beaumont pond. After losing two flies to some very bad casts I slowed things down a bit and ended up hooking two small trout within a half hour, with about four more who jumped for the fly but spit it up. I didn't think I would catch any fish my first time out so I am pretty stoked about the future of fly fishing for me. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
