Fishing Dismal Stream Look Not To Bad

I'm headed to rat creek Saturday, and could be convinced to go again (Dismal)

before Tuesday

I was thinking of camping, the weather looks a bit wet, so will not be camping . Paul and I will probably due a day trip , Saturday looks ok

Good luck guys if you do fish Rat. I can not make this weekend have to start getting things together for holidays

I bushwacked and fished Rat at the confluence Sunday. Both the Pembina & Rat very dirty & high. Rat is very Interesting looking water. It's not like the free stone rivers we are usually fishing. Not as many riffles but looks like a lot of deeper bends and lots of fallen timber. It was tough to judge how deep it was due to clarity. Saw no rises, insect life didn't seem to be that abundent flying around, a few mayflies not many caddis. Millions of flies & mosquito's.

Found a Quad trail on the way out that cut hours off the trip out.(Thank God) Lost another 10lbs bushwacking in.

Yes Dan i had wadders on.

Will try it again in a couple of weeks or so.
